HOW TO STEAL A MILLION (composer considers this his first 'major' score) is represented by both pristine stereo master of original 1966 re-recorded album plus all surviving stereo cues from actual soundtrack sessions. Album master plays on CD 1, scoring sessions appear on CD 2. Filling out second CD is world premiere of surviving stereo cues from very early score BACHELOR FLAT. Here Williams introduces numerous trademarks that later appear in host of upcoming Irwin Allen TV shows, later films. Lively 'Main Title', dynamic 'Mambone' are genuine highlights!
